Norma Hernandez

Since joining CDA in 1991 as a receptionist, CDA’s mission and vision has resonated with Norma. She believes Child/Human Development, like organizations, must actively and tenaciously pursue progressive change to achieve their goals. Norma relishes creative approaches to problem-solving that integrate the development of people, processes, and systems. Throughout CDA’s extensive growth spells and program changes, Norma enjoys strategizing for individuals, groups and programs to achieve and sustain their maximum potential.

She’s is an avid life-learner and holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Kaplan University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a Certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix.

Norma, is a Certified Six Seconds EQ Practitioner (EQPC), Assessor (EQAC), Facilitator (CEQF), and Vital Signs (VS) consultant for leaders, teams and organizations.  At conferences and events including CAPPA, CCDAA and HAPS, Norma has spoken on topics such as emerging best practices in leadership, human resources, business management, operations and administration.

Norma enjoys spending her time with family, traveling, attending local and regional concerts and cultural events.  She loves animals and supports humane and ethical treatment of all living creatures.
