CDA and the California Food Policy Advocates met with Lucero Chavez, Field Representative for Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez to discuss the importance of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) for children, families, and child care providers.
During the month of March, our Nutrition Program team members will have resources and handouts to help parents and providers build healthy habits. Visit our main office lobby to learn how simple record-keeping practices and a little bit of training can help child care providers start getting paid to keep your children healthy.
Every year, providers participating in the CDA Nutrition Program must complete MANDATORY Annual Training. Training sessions are held across Southern California and cover a variety of topics including CACFP guidelines, nutrition education, successful claiming, and more!
