YMCA Resource and Referral Agency

The YMCA Resource and Referral Agency works to support families in their search for child care providers across San Diego. As a licensed provider participating in the Alternative Payment Program, you are required to have your current rate sheet and any applicable discounts, or scholarship policies on file with them so they can easily refer any parent who needs a provider.

A license-exempt non-relative child care provider needs to get background clearance to participate in the Alternative Payment Program. Note, requirement is waived for license-exempt child care providers who are grandparents, aunts and uncles of the children receiving child care.
